IHPSO - International Human Potential Standards Organization is the organizational and brand name under which Biohack Global Holdings LLC provides Professional Standards, Core Education, Professional Membership, Registry and related services.

1. Business-to-Business Membership

IHPSO Professional Membership is available only to individuals aged 18 or over who purchase and use the Membership in a professional or business capacity. It is not offered for primarily private or consumer purposes.

Before purchasing Membership, the applicant must confirm that they are at least 18 years old and are purchasing IHPSO Professional Membership in a professional or business capacity, not for primarily private or consumer purposes.

The declaration accepted at checkout forms part of the Membership record and is stored with its wording version and timestamp.

2. Personal Membership

Professional Membership is held by an individual Professional.

An employer, company or other organisation may pay for or support an individual's Membership, but:

  • the Professional ID belongs to the individual
  • Education Completion belongs to the individual
  • Certificates and Badges belong to the individual
  • Registry history remains associated with the individual

Membership and credentials cannot be transferred from one individual to another.

3. Membership Requirements

Payment alone does not create Active Professional Status.

To obtain ACTIVE Professional Membership status, an applicant must satisfy all applicable IHPSO requirements, which may include:

  • successful purchase of Professional Membership
  • completion of required eligibility information
  • completion of the required Core Education
  • successful completion of the applicable assessments
  • satisfaction of any required qualification or evidence checks
  • final approval by IHPSO

IHPSO may request reasonable evidence necessary to verify eligibility.

4. Core Education

The first Membership year currently includes access to the four required IHPSO Core Courses and their assessments.

  • Ethics & Professional Conduct
  • Scope of Practice
  • Evidence & Scientific Communication
  • Safety & Risk Fundamentals

A completed Core Course remains recorded as completed.

Renewing Membership does not normally require a Member to repeat a Core Course that has already been successfully completed, unless IHPSO expressly introduces a materially revised requirement in the future.

5. Assessments

Each required Core Course includes an assessment. The current assessment pass mark is 80%.

Assessment requirements, format and permitted attempts may be updated where reasonably necessary to maintain the integrity or quality of the education system. Where changes affect existing Members materially, IHPSO will communicate the relevant requirements.

6. Professional ID

An IHPSO Professional ID is a persistent identifier assigned to an eligible Professional.

  • identifies the Professional within the IHPSO system
  • remains associated with the individual
  • does not itself prove current Membership status
  • does not constitute a government licence or statutory professional authorisation

A Professional ID may remain associated with a Professional after Membership expires, is suspended or is otherwise no longer ACTIVE.

7. Certificates and Badges

IHPSO Certificates and Education Badges document Education Completion within the IHPSO system.

  • record what was completed and when
  • remain historical records of legitimate Education Completion
  • do not constitute a governmental licence
  • do not automatically expand statutory Scope of Practice
  • are not by themselves proof of current ACTIVE Membership

Normal expiry of Membership does not automatically invalidate a legitimately issued Course Certificate or Badge.

8. Public Registry

Eligible Professionals may have a profile published in the IHPSO Public Registry after the required approval process. Payment alone does not create or publish a Registry profile.

The Registry may distinguish between IHPSO Verified information and Professional Provided information. The Professional is responsible for the accuracy of information they provide.

IHPSO may correct, restrict, suspend or remove Registry information where necessary to maintain accuracy, integrity, safety or compliance.

9. Professional Standing

IHPSO may use status labels including ACTIVE, EXPIRED, INACTIVE, SUSPENDED and REVOKED.

EXPIRED normally means that the applicable paid Membership period has ended without successful renewal. Expiry is not, by itself, a disciplinary finding.

SUSPENDED and REVOKED are governance statuses and may be applied where IHPSO's procedures justify such action. Payment or renewal does not automatically override a SUSPENDED or REVOKED status.

10. Scope of Practice

IHPSO Membership, Professional ID, Certificates, Badges, Registry entries or other IHPSO credentials do not grant statutory professional authority.

Members remain solely responsible for:

  • complying with applicable law
  • maintaining any licence or registration required in their jurisdiction
  • working within their lawful and professional Scope of Practice
  • complying with applicable professional and ethical obligations

IHPSO Membership must not be represented as a substitute for governmental or statutory licensing.

11. Professional Conduct

Members are expected to comply with applicable IHPSO Professional Standards and conduct requirements.

IHPSO may review a Member's status where there is credible information concerning, for example:

  • material misrepresentation
  • manipulated eligibility information
  • misuse of IHPSO credentials
  • serious breach of applicable IHPSO Standards
  • serious safety or integrity concerns
  • conduct that materially undermines the integrity of the IHPSO system

A complaint alone does not automatically result in suspension or revocation.

12. Term and Renewal

Professional Membership is provided for a paid Membership period of one year, unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.

At launch, the Membership price is USD 199 per year. The current renewal price is also USD 199 per year.

The current price does not constitute a guarantee that the same price will apply indefinitely. If IHPSO changes the future renewal price, affected Members will be informed before the changed price takes effect.

Where automatic renewal applies, Membership renews for the next Membership period unless renewal is cancelled before the renewal is processed.

13. Cancellation of Future Renewal

A Member may cancel future automatic renewal through the available Membership/account process.

Cancellation of future renewal:

  • prevents the next scheduled renewal payment
  • does not normally terminate the already-paid Membership period early
  • does not normally create a right to a prorated refund for the current period
  • does not erase legitimate Education Completion

The Member may continue to hold the applicable Membership status until the end of the paid-through period, subject to all other Membership and governance requirements.

14. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, IHPSO or its payment/subscription provider may retry the payment and send service notifications.

The detailed sequence and timing of retries, grace periods and expiry are governed by the Renewal & Cancellation Policy and the actual payment-system configuration in force at the time.

15. Refunds

Except where IHPSO expressly agrees otherwise, a payment was unauthorised or made in error, the service was not provided as agreed, or mandatory law requires otherwise, Membership fees for an already commenced paid Membership period are generally non-refundable.

Cancellation of future renewal alone does not create a right to a prorated refund.

16. Changes to Membership Requirements

IHPSO may reasonably update Professional Standards, educational content, assessment requirements, Registry rules, credential structures and operational Membership requirements.

Changes may be necessary for professional quality, safety, evidence updates, regulatory developments, technical integrity or prevention of misuse.

Material changes affecting existing Members will be communicated appropriately. IHPSO will not retroactively erase legitimate Education Completion merely because later educational content is updated.

17. Suspension and Revocation

IHPSO may suspend or revoke Professional Standing where permitted under its governance procedures.

Before a material adverse status decision, IHPSO should ordinarily identify the issue, review the available information, notify the affected Professional where appropriate, provide a reasonable opportunity to respond and make a reasoned decision.

Further details are governed by the Registry & Credential Policy and Appeals Policy.

18. Appeals

Certain IHPSO decisions may be subject to internal review or appeal. The applicable process, eligibility, deadlines and possible outcomes are described in the IHPSO Appeals Policy.

19. Intellectual Property

IHPSO Professional Standards, Core Education, assessments, website content, branding, Certificates, Badges and related materials may be protected by intellectual property rights. Membership does not transfer ownership of IHPSO intellectual property to the Member.

Members may use their own valid IHPSO credentials in accordance with applicable IHPSO rules. They may not:

  • reproduce protected educational content beyond permitted use
  • reproduce assessments
  • create misleading derivative credentials
  • falsely imply approval, accreditation or endorsement
  • permit another person to use their Professional ID or credential

20. Account Security

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity conducted through their account. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly to info@ihpso.com.

21. Availability and Technical Changes

IHPSO may update, maintain, suspend or modify technical components where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, system integrity, compliance or feature improvement.

IHPSO will use reasonable efforts to maintain availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Biohack Global Holdings LLC, operating under the IHPSO - International Human Potential Standards Organization brand, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with IHPSO Professional Membership, Core Education or assessments, Professional Standards, Professional IDs, Certificates or Badges, the Public Registry or credential verification, the IHPSO website or related digital services, or the use of, or reliance upon, IHPSO educational or professional information.

This exclusion includes, without limitation, loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, data or other intangible losses, even where the possibility of such loss was known or reasonably foreseeable.

IHPSO Professional Standards, Core Education, Resources and other informational materials are provided for professional education, orientation and standards purposes. They do not replace professional judgment, statutory licensing requirements, individual medical advice, legal advice or other regulated professional services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Biohack Global Holdings LLC arising out of or in connection with the Membership, these Terms or IHPSO services shall not exceed the amount of one annual IHPSO Professional Membership fee applicable to the Member at the time the event giving rise to the claim occurred. If the claim arises after the Membership has ended, the applicable liability cap shall be the annual Membership fee paid for the Member's most recent Membership period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or willful and wanton misconduct, death or personal injury where applicable law prohibits limitation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits the Member's obligation to comply with applicable law, professional licensing requirements or their lawful Scope of Practice.

23. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable IHPSO Privacy Policy.

24. Changes to These Terms

IHPSO may update these Terms where reasonably necessary. Where a change materially affects an existing paid Membership, IHPSO will provide appropriate notice before the change takes effect where required or reasonably practicable.

The current version and effective date will always be shown on the website.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, the IHPSO Professional Membership and any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to them, including their formation, validity, interpretation, performance or termination, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the parties agree that the state courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or IHPSO Professional Membership.

Where a matter falls within the jurisdiction of the federal courts of the United States, jurisdiction shall lie with the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.

Each party irrevocably submits to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waives, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any objection based on venue or inconvenient forum.

This choice of law and jurisdiction does not exclude the application of any mandatory law, statutory right or jurisdictional rule that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded by agreement.
